“Road Safety” is an everlasting cautious issue to concern about, and in video surveillance field, much effort has been made to improve the road surveillance effect. But yet, how to have perfectly legible plate number under extreme low illumination is still a difficulty.
Exactly targeted to resolve this issue, Dahua Technology recently releases its 700TVL Day/Night HLS camera (DH-CA-F681E). The camera adopts Sony Effio-S 960H CCD chipset and has outstanding performance in terms of its image processing, color reproduction and car plate number recognition in low illumination scene.

HLS Effect 2 (Hightlight Suppression)
As the pictures show, Dahua HLS technology effectively suppresses the glare interferences from the headlight and successfully removes the unwanted light area on the car plate, presenting a clear and perfectly legible plate number. Meanwhile, one can spot the driver and other objects inside the car in the second picture. That could do lots of help in detection job or post-event investigation and evidence collection process.
